Jack. 3 years old. Obsessed with Cars and Winnie the Pooh. Knows his colors, but will tell you everything is “bluered” (no space). Learning his shapes (knows circle, square, triangle but will lead you on!). Loves his Pooh flashcards (and so do I). Very smart, mechanically inclined. Loves K’Nex and Legos. Terrified of life-size dinosaurs. Loves peanut butter, fish, and his family. Enjoys walks, talking on the phone, and getting into “trouble.”

Bug asleep in the grass

Bug. 21 months old.  Real name is Steven, but he thinks his name is Bug. Came home from the hospital when he was born with jaundice, had to be wrapped 24/7 in a biliblanket. He looked like a glow worm, so his nickname is Bug. Nanna wishes his name was Sugar Babe. Not really obsessed with anything, except everything his brother loves. Loves being the center of attention. Terrified of the garbage disposal. Loves peanut butter, fish, and his family. Enjoys walks, singing, the bathtub, and getting into “trouble.”

Chey in the truck

Cheyanne. 8.5 years old. AKA Chey. Steve’s child from previous relationship. Lives with her biological mother (Ginny).  Has 4 biological siblings, and 7 total siblings. Loves Hannah Montana, playing “store” and “school,” and Disney princesses.  Knows more than she acts like she knows. Learning to write in cursive. Loves art projects and writing. Very smart, and creative. Loves peanut butter, Gala apples, and her family-especially her dad. Enjoys playing outside, chalk, seeing her dad, and Christmas.

This is me

Kristin. Me. 21 years old. Obsessed with scrapbooking and my Etsy store. Knows more about cars than your average upper-middle-class girl. Loves Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 and the new Adobe Fireworks CS4. Full time student. Full time mother. Going to school to be an elementary teacher, but more than likely switching major to interior architecture the coming fall. Terrified of the dentist. I love crunchy name-brand peanut butter, fish, and my family. I enjoys walks, talking on the phone, hanging out with friends, and The United States of Tara. New Year’s resolution is to lose 50 pounds by November 13th (my 22nd birthday). If I do, I will be almost 1/2 the size I was at this past birthday. Wish me luck, I will need it.

Steve. 28 years old. Kristin’s husband. Jack, Bug, & Chey’s dad. Obsessed with his trucks. Owns his own construction company. Loves his kids, and his family. Likes to travel. Makes the best pasta.

Dodie. 42 years old. Kristin’s mom. AKA Kim and Mom. Jack & Bug’s grandma. Married to Tim/Pappy/Dad. Enjoys cooking/baking and watching The Biggest Loser & Days of Our Lives.

Pappy. 55 years old. Kristin’s Dad. AKA Tim and Dad. Jack & Bug’s grandpa. Retired this past February from Volvo. Likes Damages, and miscellaneous Discovery Channel, History Channel, and National Geographic Channel documentaries.

Roxana. 50 years old. Steve’s Mom. AKA Grandma. Retired USPS postal worker (mail lady). T4 paraplegic. Loves her grandkids and shows like Dr. Phil, Ellen, Rachel Ray, Friends, and Nancy Grace.
